Description. The Gary Land Compnay Building was the first building constructed In Gary. It served as Town Hall, Post Offce and School. Gregory H Jenkins Architect researched the history, inspected the structure and completed the application to designate the building as a protected Gary Landmark.

GHJA had previously, successfully, prepared the nomination to list the Structure and the surrounding District on the National Register of Historic Places.
